I have worked on the Mosgas Project in 1988  up to 1994 as an NDE Technician and fell in Love with the area When we got to Mossel Bay at the time it was a community that needed much development as far as entertainment facilities was concerned. I remember paces like La Terasse where we would stay up until late as we were working on the night shift. I would support la peron, as Mossel Bay has grown (I do not think I will recognize it Mossel Bay as I know it since I have not been in the last 15 years) and I hope that La Preron will be granted their licence back. This is most probably an invalid claim by a disgruntled resident. The restaurant has been open for quite some time now and has never bothered any resident I know of. Its quite shocking that the municipality acted on a complaint without a proper procudure being followed..and this during our peak season..so many visitors being dissapointed and will now leave our beautiful little town with negative and bad memories.

Such a great venue ! Closed for a silly reason and losing business due to one persons opinion/ experience. We have always enjoyed La Peron and were disappointed to hear about this. We fully support the owners and hope to see them back in action asap !!!!

I think it is a blow below the belt to cancel a business licence during high season. To top it all, we live in a holiday town where seasonal income help us to get through the year. Could the complainant not have a talk to the owners of La Peron if the music was so loud? The neighbourly thing would be to find a solution to the problem without cutting the other person's throat.

La Peron is an up market seafood restaurant and delivers excellent service throughout the year and it's sad that so many customers returns regularly and because of jealous competition in town their lisence has been suspended on the busiest time of the year. This reflects bad for a small town like Mossel Bay!!!
