We have known Jarron since he started work at the Tect Park, we are previous residents of Taumata Road which is nearby, he has our full unconditional support!! Jarron has made a hug difference to how the Park has been developed and his blood, sweat and tears are all over the site. He has given freely of his time 24 hours a day and seven days a week. The Tect Park is based in a remote area where there are unreliable communication networks available and no real-time physical back up for emergencies. The Council should be ashamed at the way this incident has been handled and take their share of the blame for not protecting their staff (and property) better. The Council need to visibly upgrade their safety procedures and policies for the park rules. Where are the usual signs banning alcohol in a public place? No entry after dark signs? And locked gates at dusk the same way that central city parks are locked? Jarron deserves an apology and reinstatement to the Park Ranger Role, and better protection for his life and family in future!! Regards, Nadine & Guy Dunlop
