Yes its impossible to make tv halaal .there is no way that Tv can be made halaal . this point is what the dactor saheb fails to understand . you cannot say let do this to a pig then we change that , then is Halaal . it can and never will be Halaal .there is no need to accomodate for those muslims who are watching Tv . Theere watching Tv is Haraam period .You dont say lets give them less haraam its better , we say let stop the haraam Totally .If a person is doing a thing for Allah Taalas pleasure and someone shows him you wrong he will be overjoyed and stop what he is doing .If his niyaat is wrong he will justify even porn to be ok ... its only digital not physical

#125: ridy -  The are 2 opinions on this issue by scholars as far as I know.

Some scholars of the view that a "Dawah Channel" like ITV free of sins can be allowed.

Others of the view that all forms of TV including the above is Haraam.

There is clearly no unanimity on the view by ALL scholars that either of the above opinion is correct. Otherwise there would be no "Muslim Channels" anywhere in the world. The existing "Muslim Channels" have not been condemmed by all the ulema in their countries where they are being broadcast.
