Pub Not An Eatery

The Halton Arms Pub in Murdishaw is changing ownership. It is rumoured that the new owners will be refitting the building and focusing on food. This would mean making the pub into a carvery restaurant. In doing so, it would inprove the look of the building but would lose the traditional pub feel. What the regular users of the Halton Arms want is for the building to become a more family friendly Pub with evening entertainment. This petition has been drawn up for the locals to show their concern of the new plans and hopefully show the new owners that another eatery in the area would not work.
