Reinstate Coach Troy

Hello,
Coach Troy Cartledge was advised he can no longer coach for St. Mary of the Assumption CYO. Coach Troy has been coaching at St. Mary's since 2009 and coaching youth sports since 2004. During this time he has developed a team of players that are not only gifted athletically, but also gifted academically. It is Coach Troy's philosophy that all student athletes have talents and should be afforded the opportunity to develop and enhance those talents. This year, some of our talented players are being made to play down in their age group as opposed to playing on teams commensurate with their skill level, which is allowed in the Archdiocese of Washington CYO Handbook. This is a huge injustice and having recognized this and exercising his freedom of speech against this unfair practice, Coach Troy was removed as a coach. We are asking everyone to sign this petition requesting Coach Troy be reinstated. Please request as many family and friends you can to sign this petition.
