Removal of Mpuku and Polar park illegal human settlement

Good day Mthatha Community Members,

Kindly furnish this petition if you are in support of the removal of Mpuku and Polar park illegal human settlements. The residents residing in these areas;
* have existing RDP houses under their names,
* are risking their lives residing in and building shacks on sand and along the river banks, endangering their childrens' lives and putting their lives in danger,
* temper with the electricity supply,
* illegally occupy private land meant for community development, investment and creation of jobs.
* contribute to crime through illegal occupation of community and private land,
* their shacks do not comply with the property act and impact negatively on property business, depreciation of land, investment and development,
* those without RDPs can contribute to the citys' economic growth through rentals and those seeking jobs, can do so from home.
