Musicians and dancers are all at a great loss since the dancing has ceased it would be of great benefit to all for it to be addressed by government.(Cork, 2020-07-01)

I'm signing this petition as the music industry is being treated very badly during this coronavirus pandemic by our government they should have being told roughly when they could go back on the road as every thing else has opened back up againstSandra o shaughnessy

I am signing this petition because, social dancing is our Irish culture and heritage, and while Ireland is opening back up again there have been no mention of our bands artists singers venues and dancing, these fantastic bands and singers are being forgotten about, they too have been affected by the covid 19 pandemic, and lost their livelihoods, and I feel they also need to get some hope and clarity on exactly when they can expect to get back doing their jobs, also if this drags into 2021 a lot of our fabulous dancing venues will no doubt close Down completely, while I respect the restrictions and guidelines, surely there has to be a safe way of our bands singers and dancingto return, there are thousands of people who depend on social dancing as away of physical exercise and a nights dancing and entertainment , plus it also brings in revenue all year round for venues and so on .please give us and our bands singers and venues some home of having our dancing back again really soon, signed Carmel Mcloughlin...(County Meath, 2020-07-01)

I am angry and upset at the way our Irish musicians,Singer's,bands, Country singers Irish traditional bands, entertainers comedians, song writers, are been treated and not getting a fair deal from our government or our national broadcaster R.T.E it's a total disgrace and cant continue in this way, only for the local and internet stations it would have been a very lonesome lockdown for our citizens we deserve better,we want better, and we will fight until we get positive reactions and results. ITS SAD WE HAVE TO FIGHT FOR EVERYTHING STAND UP AND BE COUNTED KIND REGARDS DAVY RYAN(Bruff, 2020-07-01)
