I am signing this petition because they have not been proven guilty in a court of law. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty, and they deserve the chance to defend themselves while out on bail.I know one of them personally. His child needs his presence. I know him to be a respectful and caring person, and I do not believe he is a danger to anyone.
Keeping them in custody before trial punishes their families unfairly. I believe they will attend court when required. For these reasons, I ask the court to grant them bail so they can return home while their case is heard.
