I want our community to look beautiful for generations to come.

We need to make sure the entrance to our beautiful Omokoroa has a sculpture or something that stands out in people's minds. Not just like every other bland roundabout in the area. Now is our only chance for something special.

I want Omokoroa to be a beautiful place to live .

As a ratepayer living in Omokoroa I am disappointed with the lack of beautification and maintenance that Omokoroa receives it deserves more care and attention and having a nice entrance into the peninsula would be awesome

I agree that Omokoroa roads and roundabouts would greatly benefit from thoughtful planning and planting to create a welcoming and beautiful entrance to our community.

I want to keep Omokoroa looking amazing.

In support of genuine community involvement in Council decision making, including the roundabout.

I would love the round about to be full of wild flowers

I am a local who likes to see tidy well kept streets. Unkept areas will lead to a general decline in care and respect for our community.

I’m signing because I care about our beautiful Peninsula and would like the first glimpse to be one of safety, beauty and reflect our connected community

I agree this is a great opportunity for the entrance to Omokoroa to be special 😊

I want to see more plantings especially of native trees with so much has been taken away over last 10 years..

I agree that we need something different and appealing which reflects our beautiful town and community.

Omokoroa is a beautiful place and the previous roundabouts have been poorly done. Effort for this roundabout is important for our community to reflect its beauty .

I’m a keen gardener so much so I’d offer to get a team together of volunteer weeders around Omokoroa just to keep Council planting maintained. It’s nice to have pride in your community & enjoy the vibe it gives. Planting & public green spaces is a big part of this.

I'm signing because I would like it to look beautiful and attractive when you drive into Omokoroa. But please do not plant tall plants on the roundabout!

Omokoroa has gained a new road and lost so many humanising features, incl the gravel pit. We must work positively to ensure our community proudly shows that it is a place of beauty.

I have been the victim of malicious plantings on the reserve in front of my house and there was zero consultation. I do not want this lack of community consultation to continue. We need a say in our own community.

As a resident of many years we would like to see the round abouts in Omokoroa planted especially the main one from state highway 2. The Prole Rd one has already been planted in Kauri Trees would have been nicer to carry that thru to all the round abouts (3) to Fresh Choice instead of slab concrete. Pohutukawa trees would have been stunning as it would go with the Lizard carving which hopefully will be replaced as well.Bring back the iconic meaning of Omokoroa as well as a more colourful sign of showing a beach for Omokoroa Signature instead of just purple and white.

I want to see a distinctive pretty roundabout that makes an appropriate statement about what's special about Omokoroa

The gorgeous entry from SH2 to Omokoroa was decimated in the name of progress. Please, please, please do the right thing and make every effort to make it gorgeous and welcoming again. It is the very least the good folk of Omokoroa deserve after putting up with the chaos this remodel has caused.

Keen to see some greenery rather than the soviet theme that seems to be reflective of lack of creativity, boredom and laziness. I'm sure most people of Omokoroa will be willing to endure the roadworks a bit longer if it means we get something more attractive and welcoming.

We have an opportunity to really sell Omokoroa..let's not waste it

My house borders Omokoroa Road and would like to ensure the aesthetic of the roundabout are in keeping with our beautiful community, and that the roundabouts aren’t left to grow wild with weeds.

I think our suburb needs something really special to complement the natural beauty of the area

I totally agree with you. It would be wonderful to have a beautiful roundabout.

A chance to enhance Omokoroas beauty which has been sorely neglected! The planting on the Prole Rd roundabout shows what can be done! Maybe a sculpture or something would be great! Have you seen the Falcon on pole at the Tauranga /Rotorua roundabout at Karapiro? Fantastic.
