I'm signing because the football club means more to me than it does to most and extending that football club and assisting it to grow has been my goal since i became president. The fact that the oval is not large enough forces us to send our players elsewhere in the district after year 6. Id like to see that change.Brodie Della (Perth, 2021-09-05)

For both the Football and Cricket clubs to be able to have youth games on the ground would be a great advantage. It would enable older kids to stay connected to the clubs for longer and help keep the clubs sustainable.Laurence Francis (Perth, 2021-09-05)

Darlington oval is not up to the standard of many of the teams that compete in the same leagues. The council should also investigate improving the drainage of the oval.Darren Munday (Glen Forrest , 2021-09-05)

I’m signing because it would be amazing for the young players who have spent years learning and growing together to continue to play football for the same club instead of having to go elsewhere due to the size of the ovalLuke Hipper (Perth , 2021-09-12)

I’m signing this petition because widening the oval is much needed for the various sports that utilise the Darlington oval & Newly built pavilion. Would have loved for my son to continue playing footy in his youth & senior years instead of moving clubs 2 years ago.Let’s keep our sports local in our community
