بیمارستان مسیح (دکتر مرادیان) کرمانشاه به عنوان یکی از قدیمی‌ترین بیمارستان‌های ایران با قدمتی بالغ بر یک قرن بخشی از هویت تاریخی و فرهنگی استان کرمانشاه و غرب ایران محسوب می‌شود. متأسفانه در سالیان اخیر بی مهری‌هایی که نسبت به این سند تاریخی انجام شده است باعث شده تا صدمات عدیده‌ای بر پیکره‌ی این اثر گران‌بها وارد گردد. متأسفانه خروج اثر از ثبت ملی باعث شتاب روز افزون تخریب آن شده است. به تازگی و در واپسین روزهای سال 1398 عده‌ای به دور از فرهنگ، آتش به پیکره‌ی نیمه جان این اثر انداختند که با شائبه‌ی عمدی بودن عمل همراه بوده است. بدیهی است که اگر برخورد عاجل و محکم دستگاه‌های نظارتی با اینگونه اقدامات شکل نگیرد باید شاهد تکرار آن در سایر ابنیه‌ی تاریخی استان کرمانشاه هم باشیم. امضاء کنندگان این طومار ضمن درخواست برخورد قاطع دستگاه‌های نظارتی و قضایی با مسببان احتمالی این عمل شنیع از مقامات مسئول تقاضا دارند تا مقدمات بازگشت اثر را به فهرست آثار ثبت ملی شده فراهم کنند. ثبت ملی اثر و تبدیل آن به احسن با ایجاد کاربری‌های نوین آموزشی، پژوهشی و فرهنگی علاوه بر تقویت غنای میراث فرهنگی استان و کشور می‌تواند در زمینه اشتغال زایی برای جوانان فرهنگ دوست این دیار مثمر ثمر باشد. به آگاهی می‌رساند پس از پایان جمع آوری امضاءها، نامه‌ای در چند نسخه توسط انجمن صنفی راهنمایان گردشگری استان کرمانشاه تنظیم و سپس تقدیم مقامات عالی استان کرمانشاه از جمله شورای تأمین، دادستان عمومی و انقلاب، ادارات و نهادهای ذیربط استان و همچنین نمایندگان محترم مجلس و شورای شهر خواهد شد و رونوشت نامه نیز به وزارتخانه میراث فرهنگی، گردشگری و صنایع دستی ارسال خواهد شد.
