la Peron stands empty whilst frustrated visitors pour past our door

2015-12-26 13:57:36

Thank you for signing our petition.

Some feedback,

La Peron's 260 seats sit empty while we wait for a chance to correct this injustice in court on Monday.
When I drove out earlier, all the streets down to the harbour were full of frustrated people trying to find somewhere to eat. There has been no attempt by the municipality to correct their malicious and calculated action to deprive us of 6 days trade in high season. We will be in court on Monday to have their actions put aside as illegal, and there can be no excuse for the way they have done this.

To properly and thoroughly address this, we are looking for the best and most effective legal counsel possible to have the culprits punished.

It remains to be seen if our substantial losses can be recovered legally.

Any good legal advice to help us win this case will be most welcome.

Thanks to the hundreds of you who have signed our petition, and to others of the 53,487 people who the post reached - with some excellent legal advice flowing back to us.

We hope to be trading again on Monday afternoon. Hold thumbs for us . . and that we stop this injustice in its tracks, or Mossel Bay's prospects are indeed gloomy.

Best Regards,

Ian Williams
