Please sign the petition to halt rates increases by the New Plymouth Dustrict Council which are forcing people out of their homes and off of their properties. The NPDC is incompetent.
The NPDC are placing the ratepayers under huge stress and driving people out of their homes due to financial mismanagement. Given the current trend of increasing rates by 10% year on year the long term effect will see you as a ratepayer being unable to afford these increases and having to sell up your property to survive and renters will see unaffordable rent hikes due to landlords having to raise rents to meet rates increases.
