Change the Melbourne Pokemon regional championship to Champions, not SV.

Currently Melbourne is scheduled to be the last regional of the Scarlet and Violet era. Pokemon champions releases on April 8 and the first official events start in May. The purpose of this petition is simple - change Melbourne to play on Champions, not Scarlet and Violet.

Melbourne is on 22-24 of May. At the time of writing this, nearly 1 hour after registration has opened, less than 200 people have registered for VGC as opposed to TCG being sold out. Previous regionals for VGC surpassed the 200 mark sooner, and Melbourne has classically been the most successful regional. A lot of players, myself included, have not registered for VGC specifically because of the game decision. Some have entered in TCG or Go, or simply opted out altogether. 

NAIC and the world championship are being played on Champions, and in OCE it would be unfair if we cannot have an opportunity to practice and compete on the new game leading into this.

As a community, we are asking for Melbourne to be played on Champions instead of Scarlet and Violet.
