Petition Against Essex County Council Closing Little Hands Children’s Centre 

Little Hands Children’s Centre Stanway is a new and purpose built building designed to deliver what our community needs and was designated as a Children's Centre hub only last year following consultation by Essex County Council.  

I/We, the undersigned, oppose the proposal by Essex County Council to close Little Hands Child
ren’s Centre in Stanway

We call upon Essex County Council to accept that Children’s Services would lose sustainability if relying heavily on volunteers to deliver groups and activities.

We deplore Essex County Council’s proposal to bring together all of the support currently on offer and buy in or commission the right people. We already have the right people supporting the needs of Stanway’s young families at Little Hands.
