Demand Accountability: Ensure students safety at Thrive Residence

We, the undersigned students and concerned individuals, are petitioning for immediate action to address the serious safety concerns at Thrive Residence, where students funded by nsfas bursary are residing.

The Issues:

• The residence is not providing a safe living environment for students, with concerns regarding safety of the student, there is no security not even cameras also equipment to manage 51 students.
• Despite receiving bursary funds, the res owner is not prioritizing student safety and well-being.

Demands:

• We demand that the res owner takes immediate action to address the safety concerns and provide a secure living environment for students.
• We call for regular inspections and monitoring to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• We request transparency and communication regarding any actions taken
