District Wide School Lunch Improvements

I am (at the time of writing this), an 8th grade Mohawk student at the Middle School. Many students in the Bethlehem Central School District dislike the school lunches greatly. I have heard the lunches being called "worse than prison food." In my own experience, I have found the lunches to be of poor quality. They are meager portions that are barely filling. Also, the quality is horrendous. Much of the food is cold and unappetizing. This leads to many people not eating lunch, or simply buying it to pick out a few things and then throwing it away. This causes a lot of food waste. There has been a lot of research conducted on whether food plays a part in academic achievement. So if you see this, I hope that you sign in order to convince school officials and board members into improving the quality and delectability of our lunch into the way it was, or even better.
