for the rights of our friends and family imprisoned

Allright allright.. so prisoners in new zealand have human rights? now why dont they have the right to vote? if anyone can even come remotely close to justifying this on behalf of our corrupt system please do....(you can try take away cigarettes but taking away the right for every new zealand citizen to vote is going to far) "In particular prisoners have the right to be treated with humanity, dignity and respect while in detention." now since when did not being able to have the right to say who "runs the country" for not only you but for your family give someone a sense of humanity respect or even dignity? sign and we will be that much closer to giving people what they deserve, thankyou.
