SUPPORT CORK AIRPORT

When I fly home from the States it is so nice to fly into Cork Airport. I grew up in Cork and knew by the time what flight was landing. This would be terrible if we lost this.

Why should I have to travel by car to either Shannon or Dublin, when Cork has a great airport.

As a Corkonian it is my responsibility to support this. We need an airport ! It needs all our support

We all should sign as the City would be in big trouble without an Airport. Also if I want to travel I really prefer to fly to and from Cork I really don't want a 3hr journey back Home.

Would love to see more routes flying from Cork & keep our beautiful West Cork a tourist destination! #wildatlanticway

Because Cork Airport is vital to all of us living in Munster. Travelling via Dublin Airport adds time and additional expense to our journeys.

I fly home to see family in cork so don't want to fly to Dublin.

I and all my visitors from overseas rely on Cork Airport for all our flights as is a 4 hr journey or more to Dublin and even longer to Shannon from our home by car. Tourists would also be deterred from coming to West Cork leading to more unemployment etc

We have lived all over the world but finally my husband got work that allowed us to return to my native Ireland. The only thing that made it possible for us to return here is the fact that there is an airport in Cork.

West Cork needs this Airport for Tourism and I need it for travel abroad for friends and family

Save Cork airport!

I use cork airport regularly and need it to continue to function for the better

I regularly visit the south west of Ireland to stay with family. It would be incredibly difficult to visit if cork airport was closed

Utterly crazy that there is even the need for a petition. Losing the airport in Cork would devastate tourism in an area badly hit by the recession, collapse the still fragile housing market, drive all those multinationals that have made their base in Cork to close and go somewhere where there is infrastructure to support them, utterly wipe out all the Government sponsored tourism initiatives like the Wild Atlantic Way... Utterly crazy. And I'm told that Shannon was bailed out of its own debt, which is now why it's a thriving and growing transport hub bringing tourism industry and therefore jobs to the region.

Bail out the bank debt so that you can repay all those German savings banks and wreck the country's economy with a generation of debt, but bail out your own airport to support tourism, industry, jobs and an entire region - no, too expensive. Ridiculous.

I'm concerned for the future of Cork Airport

We need our airport , it defines cork as a city,, and it's forward not backwards we need to go!!!

I travel to cork at least 5/6 times a year I love cork airport and it would be so sad to lose flights it covers a lot of the counties and is a lifeline for so many

I signed the petition because cork airport is my nearest airport to me. Also it is easy to get to and a lovely airport to travel and return too

Having just got back flights from Cardiff to Cork,it would be devastating to lose Cork airport,and the quickest route to our daughter in a crisis.

I love visiting Cork but if I couldn't fly in to Cork I doubt if I would visit.

My daughter and her family live in Kerry & we use Cork airport very frequently for family visits and holidays - we would hate to see it closed or diminished.

Because I want to save Cork airport and it is extremely important to Southern Ireland.

I am sick of having to go to Dublin for cheaper flights. Its much handier from cork!

The only airport i ever use is Cork Airport so this would be a great loss if it was to go ,,Our Waterford Airport do not go to our holidays destinations like many hundred's of my family & friends it is so near our homes in Waterford & am signing this petition to save Cork Airport
