ban fireworks in ALL residential area's

People shooting fireworks in residential areas are inconsiderate and have no respect for neighbours or the law. Fireworks should be band and steps taken against those who still use them.

The inconsiderate people of this country that use fireworks obviously have no respect for nature and neither themselves.

Perhaps they should visit the SPCA and animal shelters on the 1st of January to see what and how their hour or two visual enjoyment negatively affects innocent pets who have no voice to say please don't we suffer.

The pain and suffering pets, birds and other animals must go through aswell as the pet owners - all because of these inconsiderate (things) called humans that simply don't care its an injustice caused to animals and humans.

And also many elderly and small children cannot tolerate these disgusting bangs and may directly affect their health.

The injuries caused to family pets from slicing stomachs open, , shredding feet, being knocked over, slicing muscles open the gory list of injuries are endless this is blatant intended animal cruelty caused by YOU things called humans that let off these firework bangs - disgrace to mankind

CONSIDERATE & LAW ABIDING CITIZENS...

This is the BIGGEST problem, no-one gives TWO SH!TS about their neighbours & pets or the Laws...  below is a press release pertaining to PE specific, I tell u one thing, it could have been released for the monkeys, birds & stars, as none of the res in my area bothered...  the Laws & Restrictions dont work, so I say BAN THE CRAP TOTALLY.

Ons is op van klappers wat elke jaar reg rondom ons huis afgevuur word.Ons diere elke jaar in n toestand. Ons hou ons honde binne, wat van honde wie se eienaars nie by hulle is nie.

Fireworks should be banned totally to the public and ONLY organised shows allowed for no longer than 30 min two or at the most three times a year. I have had non stop problems for years now calming my pets and going away over festive times is a major problem as the dogs get so scared they climb 6 foot walls to get out of my property to find a hiding place and in the process hurt them selves.

Ban publice firework sales.

Fireworks should be banned totally to the public and ONLY organised shows allowed for no longer than 30 min two or at the most three times a year. I have had non stop problems for years now calming my pets and going away over festive times is a major problem as the dogs get so scared they climb 6 foot walls to get out of my property to find a hiding place and in the process hurt them selves.

Its not only the wild life, birds and animals that suffer, its also the sick, the elderly and little children. Fireworks that do use the loud bangs, the pretty sparkly ones are in order, why we have to have these bomb sounding ones, I have no idea. In actual fact, firworks should be banned nation wide

You also need to push the human tragedy side as well. In our suburb we had a resident put in hospital after someone threw a big bang into her car whilst she was driving. Sick babies were kept awake, old and infirm people were terrified and kept awake. Children had fingers blown off. Emergency personnel that work shifts got no sleep
