And that's for each time the millions view it. He has the power to kick out the corrupt Molvies. At least his sins will be lesser and people will see that he is not operating in the name of Islam.

I have had a personal working relationship with one of these Ulloos.

They are supposed to run a Muslim School. The Johannesburg Muslim School. Massive corruption. There is a group of parents who are taking them on. Dr Adam, most of the people criticising ITV on this forum do care about you. Please give it up. It is worse to promote Haraam where others follow than To do a "secret " ( obviousy known to Allah) Haraam.  Yes there are people on this forum that commit sin and are remorseful of it and May Allah Accept their Taubah.

Mr Adam you said that you did this out of sincerity. If you are indeed sincere save yourself and your ITV followers from the fire. We dont hate you .WE HATE WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND WHAT THE ULEMA ARE NOT ADVISING YOU AGAINST.

A Kaafir professor said at the time when TV was invented that if we carry on like this then we will end up with a community full of morons. Imagine, a Kaafir! A Kaafir who is under the La'nat (curse) of Allah, His angels and His messengers said something of intelligence! Shame on you O Aalim who appears on Dajjaal's eye (TV)! Shame on you O Aalim who brands TV Halaal. Shame on you O Aalim who is helping uproot the Deen of Islam! Shame on you O supporters of TV, especially those who blindly have a 'good' opinion regarding ITV! Maybe not in this world, but certainly in the next we will see the reality.

It is clear that those so-called 'ulama' (we feel shy to use the word ulama) who are appearing on Dajaal's eye are the same ones who indulge in open public sin. Everybody is sinful. We are the biggest sinners. But to commit a sin in public and justify it is a sign that you are walking on thin ice. Everyone who eats Halaal Tayyib food will easily understand that TV is Haraam. Those who devour rotten dead brutalized tortured carrion (Rainbow, Earlybird, Goldi and company) will find it difficult to say that TV is Haraam. May Allah guide this Ummat , Ameen.

EXactly. The majority of muslims don't observe hijaad. Are the ulama going to take out a fatwa that hijaab is no longer necessary?

Since so many muslims drink liquor, should we open up our own muslim pubs with hijaab facilities so that when muslims get drunk, at least they wont fall so easily into zina? It will be lesser of the two evils.

Enough muslim youth are addicted to drugs. They steal from their own parents to get it. Should we now hire the ulama to start distributing drugs outside the masaajid so that they (the addicts) won't have to steal in order to satiate their addiction? Won't it be the lesser of two evils?

Why don't the olamas do that. Because it will make their name bad. And they ONLY WORRY ABOUT REPUTATION. FOR ITV WRONG BECOMES RIGHT. BUT WHERE IT WILL DEFAME THEM WRONG REMAINS WRONG!!!!!! WHY?

YES BASED ON THESE SO-CALLED MOULANA'S ARGUMENTS IN JUSTIFYING APPEARING ON TV, THIS MAKES MORE "SENSE".

ASK THESE ITV MOLVIES TO SPEAK OUT AGAINST THE OPPRESSION OF THE MASSES BY THE ANC GOVERNMENT AND AGAINST THE AMERICAN AND ISRAELY OPPRESSION OF MUSLIMS ETC. THEN THEY HAVE SOME "JUSTIFICATION" TO GO ON HARAAM TV. BUT THESE SO-CALLED MOULANAS ARE COWARDS AND THEY WONT HAVE THE GUTS . SO MUCH FOR THEIR PROTECTING THE DEEN.

 

 

It is difficult for me to understand why is it so difficult for learned men ('Ulama') to understand a simple thing like: "TV is Haraam"?

In any profession those who are not competent are not allowed to practice and even have their certificates confiscated if they bring disrepute to that particular profession.
For example, in Dunya, if a doctor or a lawyer is guilty of malpractice, his licence is revoked and his certificate withdrawn by the university and the general public is made aware of and warned through public notices and even the media about not taking treatment etc. from the fraudster.
Similarly and even more so should these precautions be taken with matters of Deen. Any student who qualifies from a Daarul Uloom has the responsibility of propagating and preaching ALLAH TA' AALA'S Deen in its pristine form. If a student commits malpractice by propagating and teaching laymen what is against the Shariah, he is committing a great disservice to his profession and therefore his Aalim certificate should be publically withdrawn and his licences to propagate and teach Deen should be openly withdrawn.
Hereunder please find serious sins and wrongs which some Ulema commit on a personal as well as public level which warrants that they be barred from the position of being Aalims. By committing these evils they bring disrepute to their honourable profession: (These are a few which ALAAH TA'AALAH brings to mind at this moment. There could be more.)
1. Appearing on television.
2. Promoting television openly.
3. Publically encouraging and defending what is clearly Haraam.
4. Committing and encouraging zina by intermingling openly with na¬mahram women
5. Taking and appearing in photographs openly for example in newspapers etc.
6. Encouraging women to display themselves at rallies and marches and laughing, joking and chatting with them freely on radio devil.
7. Violating the Shariah by openly attending Haraam functions eg. Wine and dine functions
8. Openly encouraging people to eat what is Haraam and doubtful.”

Ok, Jazaakallah for telling me. The Halaalazed rotten carrion which they devour is really having an effect and is making their brains also see all carrion.

Its a waste of time asking these molvis regarding their appearance on TV. I got experience. If you ask them something its one of two things: either they will not answer you or their answer will be something way off the topic. I mean listen to radio Shaitaan (Islam) if you don't believe me. How many times calls were cut and then the silly mind boggling apology of "we lost the brother". This has to be known that there is nothing like "we lost the caller"!
