Would be a great opportunity for the town of Windham to create new jobs and stimulate the local ecomomy. Just think of all the revenue the local gas stations, deli's, restaurants, bars, hotels, etc etc. will generate due to a new race track. CT needs something for a favorite pastime and drag racing has a huge following. As of right now we currently have nothing, no race tracks, no professional sports team, no nothing, however we are an industry giant. All these liberals in our state need to loosen up and get with the program for future economic growth. Being a longtime semi-pro drag racer myself and with the current price of fuel, people can't afford to travel anymore. Having a track in our own back yard would be fantastic to say the least. Its a win, win situation for everybody involved and would create alot of new family fun, and new business opportunities state wide.

Ct. has definitely become the "No fun state." Limited racing, no 4 wheeling, no snowmobiling, boating restrictions and constant hassling, it just never ends. If it is a stick and ball related sport, there is never any problem. Any kind of motorsports, and it is constant battleing and red tape.
I hope this track goes through. I am being positive.
It was no problem to get Malloy's ridiculous busway rammed through for a cost of $500 million of taxpayers dollars.
Watch how this 1/8 mile track gets stone walled.
