#2022014-02-27 21:21Honestly how is our learning affected by texting at break and lunch? School is for learning and I. Don't think anyone is stupid enough to say that we should be able to use our phones in lessons, because I think we're mature enough to understand that rule. However break and lunch is our free time to relax. If a student needs to contact home because they feel upset or have personal matters, you don't want to have to phone them in front of an audience. Plus if the person you're contacting isn't on a break at the same time then they won't be able to answer the phone and texts mean that you can each reply throughout out the day in your own time .... |

Also, when I was there we spent lots of time gathered around a person playing a game on their phone; we would all be talking together; cheerful; it stopped us from going around doing stupid things at break and lunch. |
