It is cruel to animals and a total useless habit
Guest#102 Jan 02, 2016, 08:02
To stop the fireworks!
Guest#103 Jan 02, 2016, 08:02
Our furbabies means the world to me and every year they have to go through the same noncense total crap
Guest#104 Jan 02, 2016, 08:03
Hate fireworks with a passion. So cruel to all animals and wildlife.
Guest#105 Jan 02, 2016, 08:03
Fireworks terrify our pets, birds and wildlife. They add to the pollution and noise pollution. Plus they are dangerous in general
Guest#106 Jan 02, 2016, 08:07
For selfish and humanitarian reasons: I have pets who are traumatised each year and by the time I go back to work, I am exhausted from sitting up till 3 o'clock because of bombs going off at all hours in my neighbourhood.
Guest#107 Jan 02, 2016, 08:10
Thank you for this!! I have three furkids that are affected. We live across a community park where children shoot off crackers and those ridiculous fire bombs randomly without supervision throughout November to January.
We had enough

I care a lot about animals an can't stand to see how they suffer because of fire works.
Guest#109 Jan 02, 2016, 08:13
I have to sit every year with my great dane on my lap. He is terrified of them and will severely hurt himself should I not make it to him on time..he has a reaction to tranquillisers. .so no go there..Every day for days I feel for all the owners and pets that are trying to find each other. I spend many hours after looking out for strayed pets.
I do not see the point in fireworks...such a waste!

For all the animals and our environment!
Guest#111 Jan 02, 2016, 08:16
It causes terrible trauma to pets and wildlife. for what? to satisfy a few selfish so called humans for their drunken pleasure.
Guest#112 Jan 02, 2016, 08:16
Fireworks must go. Animals ans small children are too traumatised.
Guest#113 Jan 02, 2016, 08:19
HOW MANY ANIMALS NEED TO SUFFER EXTREME TRAUMA, EVEN DEATH BEFORE FIREWORKS ARE BANNED

I get that pet owners can get meds to calm their pets, but why should I drug my animals at my expense so that some idiots can go wild... beautiful as they might be there are other alternatives to fireworks that do not traumatise animals, the elderly and young children who are in bed early and get frightened easily. My pleight for this ban is not only for animals, but many humans too.

We have 12 beautiful dogs, and I think know all animals deserve to have a peaceful life without the trauma of fireworks.
Ban it.

I am sick and tired of morons who let off fireworks in residential areas. I live in Esther Park ext 1 and they started this from 7pm old years night till 3am the next morning. I heard how dogs who were left outside in such distress it was heart wrenching. Phoning any of our law enforcement departments is a joke as they don't give a damn.

Guest#117 Jan 02, 2016, 08:26
I hate what fireworks does to our pets
Guest#118 Jan 02, 2016, 08:27
Scare animals
Guest#119 Jan 02, 2016, 08:27

Re:

Good. They shouldn't give a damn about moany white people scared about fireworks.

Guest#121 Jan 02, 2016, 08:28
Due to the fact that it frightens the animals. Dogs can hear a grass hopper eating a blade of grass. Imagine what fireworks sounds like.
Guest#122 Jan 02, 2016, 08:31
Sick and tired what it is doing to our animals and people wasting money on rubbish but complaining about other high cost of living!
Guest#123 Jan 02, 2016, 08:32
I have two Yorkies , and the crackers were wild..they can't talk so I will..and fight until I die
Guest#124 Jan 02, 2016, 08:32
