ban fireworks in ALL residential area's

It is time to do something about the terrible trauma our animals have to endure

Breaks my heart to see and hear our rescues suffering.

Due to the fact that children gets seriously injured as well as animals and animals gets frightened when these fireworks explode.

Animals getting lost and hurt because they are afraid of noise.

I cannot bear to see animals and small children so fearful and sometimes injured

Our population are unable to act responsibility and abuse fireworks and it sounds like a war zone. I want fireworks totally banned. It serves no purpose.

Fed up with loud fireworks sometimes even landing in my yard. Have pets small children and the elderly in our neighbourhood yet the nonsense never stops. Diwali and New Year celebrations are getting out of hand and its time that the police starts stepping in.

Fireworks are dangerious in a resadential area but my main reason for signeing it is the trauma it brings to both domestic animals and wild birds in the area!

Because I have three dogs and it was hell for them on new years eve when the neighbours started their fireworks!

My dogs are insanely scared when fireworks are set off.

In the present economic climate I find fireworks to be a total waste of money. All kind of animals are terrified by explosions going off at night.Always at night for effect.
Not just pets but all kinds.
What's the reason for fireworks anyway ? Surely people can celebrate without them.

Arseholes letting off fireworks anywhere near any animal should be locked up & the key thrown away or locked in a room with fireworks exploding around them!!!!

Fire Works are dangerous to our animals....and humans....but I care more about the animals....

I signed this petition because there is NO NEED to put pets through trauma just because some idiots have to have their 'fun' by using fireworks!!!

So many people complain about how difficult things are financially; still they are spending hundred's on something so irritating and harmful.

Because of the trauma that it causes to animals; not only dogs and cats but also other domestic and wild animals. Their sense of hearing is much more sensitive than humans and they do themselves unspeakable harm trying to escape the ghastly noise from fireworks.

I am all for arranged firework displays and performances. But people are irresponsible and put animal and human life in danger not to talk about the hours of the night and morning these are set off. Stop it now!!!!!!

I had two dogs and when fireworks were being used, for want of a better word, my dogs would cower up to me or my wife for protection. Sadly, I have one dog left and it is just the same feeling.

I am a dog owner and I see the impact fireworks have on my dogs.

The animals can't handle this

We have a huge "winter festival " in Newcastle every year and the highlight of this is fireworks. It is beautiful to see. But it takes place in a designated controlled area and I have no problem with this.
In my residential area I will do everything in my power to stop this activity. According to me it is one of the worst forms of animal abuse
