ban fireworks in ALL residential area's

Please ban fireworks as not only to the frighten animals hundreds of children get hurt yearly and they also frighten young and old people.

My dog was traumatized by the sound of fireworks over Christmas and New Year. I stayed at home to look after her and ensure that she was in the house. Even then, she barked every time loud fireworks were set off.

The number of pets affected by fire works this year was just heart breaking - not to mention the graphic photographs of animals SERIOUSLY injured or killed trying to run away from the noise. I can't take anymore of this unnecessary nonsense!! Please take action!!!

I signed this petition because of what happen to these poor animals it so sad they get hurt they get scared and run away frm hope and then u got sick people that blow them up we need to stop and ban fireworks in the world and start to care abt animals

Thank you for standing up to do this petition. I was about to do something myself. Don't know what ...... but I am desperate because I can't go on this way. My poor pets are a nervous wreck and I am their only voice.

Because it was the best thing to do for the animals my previous dog scratched the walls until her paws would bleed trying to scratch her way in the house.I also have PTSD as well as my bomb canine who is not on the good side of his life after the death of his other Partner my friend.

People are stupid and dont realise what damage and pain and suffering these fireworks do to pets which result in animals damaging themselves or running away in fear and so they need to be banned altogether in my opinion!!!!!!

i signed this petition because our care about our animal and there ears and I saw our dogs on the 31 of December go into such shock that he starting foaming from his mouth and our dogs are very sickly with heart problems. its so sad and no medication helps eg rescue it makes our dogs very aggressive

My dog had one firework on new years, and we found him delirious in the cat sandbox. Later he didn't even recognise us and we found out he tried to pawn his chew toys for more. Fireworks are addictive to pets and its said to be a gateway drug. All it it takes is one hit and they're hooked. Please lets ban this monstrous new drug.

Ive signed because i have 4 legged babies at home and live in Yellowwood Park which is a Nature Conservation area and everytime these damn idiots let off their crackers not just my babies but the bird life and other animals are affected.

I have lost a dog to fireworks who ran away because he even got scared of the weather in the end. There are rules but it never gets reinforced so I am really discouraged as to how we can get rid of this EVIL IDIOTIC shooting of fire works. You supposedly need a license to sell the stuff but the police just turns the other way and the merchants gets away selling the stuff. HOW WILL WE GET RID OF THIS EVIL?? I dont like the booming either, irrelevant of the poor animals who suffers every year. It is a selfish act that cares none about others - you have to suffer the booming around you whether you want it or not. The NOT have less rights than the ones shooting!!

I don't like the booming around me in my house. I have no say whatsoever or rights because if you talk to the neighbors shooting, they just get spiteful and shoot some more. Nobody's enforcing the rules or giving out fines to people who shoots with no permission. It all seems very discouraging.

Why only residential areas. Why not ban ALL fireworks?? If we leave some open space it will never disappear!
