ban fireworks in ALL residential area's

Why must animals, wild and tame suffer, get lost/hurt/killed because of a silly pleasure of man?

I have 3 dogs, and they have sutch a scare, and not to mention how Dangerous it is to all ages

To stand up for voiceless, defenceless animals getting tortured, traumatised, maimed, impaled, killed by dying horrific atrocious cruel deaths, run lost in the streets, separated from their owners by trying to escape the war zone explosions caused by insane fireworks. Put a definite and total end to fireworks in SA by banning it.

Because I feel fireworks are harmful to pets. It is an English tradition, not South African. It's just an excuse for the rowdy element to make more noise, cause more trouble.

The sound of the crackers & certain other fireworks make too much noise for our pets, both dogs & cats. I am sure that even some other animals also suffer. It is also a complete waste of money that could have been better used to assist the poor & hungry.

I have animals and it is wrong to frighten the animals and make them into nervous animals that start barking for any sound they hear. I love my animals and don't need them to be scared.

I am sick and tired of fireworks going off even during the day. I am fed up of reading about dogs having to be put to sleep and animals traumatized. as well as the children and old people. There is no need for this. Time the government did something useful for a change and ban the lot of it.

Fireworks suck.

Becaus of all the harm fireworks do to animals and pepole. We dont need fireworks. We can life whit out it buy food or sweets or alkahol dont buy shit

I have sensitive pets.

My 3 dogs are terrified of the fireworks.We give them calming tablets from the Vet.We keep them inside the house until it is finished.For Dewali n Guy fox they were inside until 1 in the morining.

Because I used to work for a vet and saw the aftermath of fireworks. ..

Because animals suffer as a result of fireworks & crackers.

Its cruel to animals and the use of fireworks must be banned

My concern for the hurt and damage done to animals is paramount.

Even though the council gives designated areas for this purpose, the people continue to fire their crackers in residential areas. therefore ban it, Government has to stop in import from China because it is the foreign shop keeper who stock the crackers they don,t care about any thing but profit!!

I don't like them scaring animals pets wildlife or farm animals

It's one of the most cruelest past times to man and animal ever and should not be allowed to be brought into our country or distributed or sold anywhere. Severe fines even jail sentences should be carried out

To help our animals from the trauma these fireworks causes them!

To stop and ban fired works it's cruel to animals also the elderly especially in the residential areas
