The courses are so good. We need them! What's a good international university without language courses?!

The finnish course was one of the most interesting ones. I love the language and the culture seems much nearer to me although I have only basic knowledge. When I told the teacher that I was really enjoying the course, they told me that it is always refreshing and rewarding for them to teach in such multicultural youth groups.

Does this mean that we don't have to study the mandatory Swedish language course at Abo Akademi. If so. then this is a wonderful decision.I am not at all keen to learn either Finnish or Swedish.

Hi, this question only concerns exchange students at Åbo Akademi University. They don't have any mandatory Swedish, although many of them would love to have the opportunity to study the local language.
