Through free choice, according to our hearts discernment we can arrive at the Truth, without it there is no hope. Being controlled by another individual or Government will only lead to rebellion and rejection. And the Supreme Lord is the only trustworhty Autocrat. There may well be many misconceptions or misrepresentation of religion but that is up to us all to decide for our selves. So for the welfare of the entire human race and especially the Russian sector don't allow such archaic shallow ignorance to cloud over the brilliant illuminating rays of pure transcendental wisdom and loving guidance for the whole suffering animation. The Bhagavad Gita is the only literature on this planet spoken directly by God Himself 1st person and hence is non-different from Him, therefore it would'nt be wise to go into opposition to Him.
