The 22nd of February changes the collective agreement. Will we be able to stop it? I heard from the union president that they would not even consider looking at the petition. I think we have to file a grievance against the union. this is totally not fair. I also happen to know there are a lot of term employees that are now gone that voted yes to this so that they might get severance pay if they were extended,. There are even some others who voted yes for some quick cash. But I think that if those of use that have been around for more than ten years or almost ten years were told the facts there would not have been a YES vote. I begged the union to explain to the membership the meaning of the vote, but they refused. |
