You will see that top salaries belong not to teachers but to admins. This is not right. I do not see any reason superintendent to make quarter million a year. He is not CEO that has to fight for new markets. He is just one admin with big salary that in reality does nothing useful. Cut his pay a half and you can fund two librarian positions!!!! If you agree with me let's write a petition for admin positions and salaries review!!! |

Torres' pay were cut in half, giving $115,000 back to the District, you could then re-hire approximately 4 elementary library paraeducators back. After 8 years with the Dist., I am one of the RIF'd library paras and I was only making $23,000/year. I'm sure you can guess how I feel about how much money Administrators are paid!! |
