General Purpose (GP) Rating Job Situation For Freshers

Nearly 65% of the students who pass the GP Rating Course in India do not get placement on ships (Over 4000 students per year end up jobless). This also is basis data declared. The numbers could be LARGER

There is a serious mismatch between the number of students passing out each year and the number of jobs available . This makes many of them as victims of malpractices 

This needs to CHANGE !

We request that all Indian Seafarers , Students of Maritime Colleges and People from the Maritime (Shipping Fraternity) in India who would like to see this change - Please sign the petition 

We shall take this to the highest Authorities so that this changes and the youngsters are not put through this any longer
