Goverment funding for Charities

There are numerous charities that are reliant on public funding, such as Sue Ryder.  These charities normally go about their FANTASTIC work relying mainly on the generosity of the British public to fund their amazing work.  With the Corona virus stopping all charitable fund raisers and charity shops unable to open their doors they are currently facing a huge dilemma and although these incredible staff are daily risking their own life to bring medical and emotional support to people when they are at their lowest.  Unless they receive goverment funding now, they will have no alternative but to close their doors and stop taking new patients.
