Hide the Zombies

Hi Launceston community. I am a mother of 4 who would like to see the 'Launceston Zombie March' hidden from children's eyes. On Saturday 26th April my family witnessed the Zombie march whilst shopping in a local book shop. Like many other customers we were shocked, scared and confronted by graphic horror images.
My aim of this petition is to make Launceston city council aware that this is something we don't want our children to witness during daytime in the middle of city. If people chose to be a zombie maybe this parade could be more sectioned off to those who want to see it at a more appropriate time and location.
I believe let children be children, and if we have a choice lets exposé them to pleasant, positive images not blood stained zombies. Children have to endure enough pain and suffering, so why create more.
