Keep Our Kids Healthy! We need proper flush toilets and hand washing stations!

Hello Parents of Woodland Hills Elementary School. By now many of you are aware that the student bathrooms on the north side of De La Osa will be closed for an estimated 8 weeks for long over due repairs. The temporary solution put in place for our children- during cold and flu season- are two pit toilets. With outside wash stations- the kind you pump with your foot- for hand washing- the kind you use when attending an outdoor music festival...or if you're like me, the kind you avoid at all costs at an outdoor music festival...There is a better solution! I have done the legwork and found a company that can provide mobile executive washrooms... with running water and flush toilets for a comparable price. Please sign this petition so that I may present it to the district- hopefully as early as tomorrow so that we can replace the current unacceptable situation with a better solution. ALSO!! Please don't overwhelm the school office with calls of anger and dismay- this was not thier call and they are well aware and very willing to worlk to provide a better way. They know- as we do that healthy will minimize absences and maximize happiness!
