Open Rogersville Steam Plant for public fishing

Going to Rogersville steam plant has been a family tradition for as long as I can remember.. they have fenced it off and set up guard shacks so there is no longer public access.. they have closed it off to the public for quite some time now. There was already a petition a few years ago, but we didn't have enough signatures! The last petition had the support of Governor Bill Haslam. If we can get Alot of signatures, hopefully something can be done about this. I have never made a petition before but I would like to encourage each of you to sign this if you would like to be able to fish at the Steam Plant once again. For myself, I would not leave a mess and not be disruptive. I'm not even sure why they closed it off to begin with. But I encourage each of you to sign this if you feel the same way I do. I feel like its a huge part of my heritage has been taken away... And for what reason? What did we do for them to block public access? Please sign and tell everyone about this petition!
