Oregon Governor and the Legislative Branch

Condemning the Governor of Oregon and the legislative branch of the Oregon Government for the continuous actions that violate the laws and Constitution of the United States and the laws and Constitution of Oregon.

Whereas: Governor Brown violated the Oregon Constitution by unilaterally violating Art V Sections 9 and 10 by allowing the destruction and continual rioting in the city of Portland. As per that section of our state’s Constitution the governor is to see that the law is faithfully executed.

Whereas: the Oregon legislative branch constantly attacks Art 1 Sec 27 of the Oregon Constitution and the 2nd Amendment of the United States Constitution that explicitly states we the people have the right to keep and bear arms for the protection of our safety.

Resolved, That the People of Oregon—

(1) condemns the Governor and the legislative branch of the Oregon Government for actions and acts that are beyond the clearly defined laws of the United States and the state of Oregon;

(2) calls on the Governor  and the legislative branch of Government to adhere to the Constitution and halt all unlawful and illegal actions which circumvent the Oregon Constitution and violate both the state’s constitution and the United States Constitution.

(3) calls on the Governor and the legislative  branch of Government to respect the constitutionally defined rights of the people.

The undersigned as We The People Oregon to herby demand that Governor Brown and the Oregon Legislative Branch halt and reverse all actions that violate our constitutions. We also demand that Governor Brown honor her oath to uphold and support our constitutions.
