Parents Supporting Dame Allan’s Teachers to remain in the TPS
The Board of Governors at Dame Allan's Schools are proposing to exit the national Teachers Pension Scheme and provide a less favourable pension scheme. Not only has this already damaged the reputation of the school but we are already seeing some of the best teachers leaving. It will be very difficult to attract new teachers without access to the TPS. As parents who pay £15,000 a year per child we are calling upon the Chair and Board of Governors to:
- retract the proposal to withdraw from the TPS
- advise the unions and seek an immediate halt to the strike action
- learn from the mistakes of the proposal in publicly damaging the reputation of Dame Allan's Schools
