Petition to Remove Mask Mandate Provisions For Yankton Public Schools

Pursuant to the First Amendment, the right of the people to petition the government for a redress of grievances, we, the undersigned parents and citizens within the Yankton Public School District, in the town of Yankton, South Dakota, hereby petition the Yankton Public School Board to adopt the following provisions pertaining to remove the mask mandate; (a) The use of face coverings shall be optional for all students at the sole discretion of their parent or guardian, (b) the use of face coverings shall be optional for any employees and visitors at school district facilities and attending school sanctioned events.
