Release the hostages — now

October 7, 2023, at least 251 people were taken hostage and brought to Gaza. Nearly two years (728 days) later, at least 48 people are still held, and around 20 are believed to be alive.

No human being—regardless of war, politics, or “side”—should ever be held hostage. This is about the hostages, and nothing else.

We demand that Hamas immediately release all hostages.
We also call on the Government of Sweden to push this demand forcefully in the relevant international fora and to report the next steps publicly.
