Relocate NCP Informal Settlement from Kenville Road out of Ward 34

We, the undersigned residents of Ken/Sea, respectfully submit this petition to request the removal of the informal settlement on Kenville Road. The settlement has been a source of concern for us due to the persistent issue of illegal electricity connections.

These unauthorized connections pose a significant risk to the safety and well-being of our community. They also lead to:

- Increased risk of electrical fires and accidents
- Power outages and disruptions to essential services
- Financial burden on law-abiding residents who are forced to subsidize the costs of these illegal connections

Furthermore, informal settlement has attracted other illicit activities, compromising the overall quality of life in our neighborhood.

We urge you to take immediate action to:

1. Remove the informal settlement on Kenville Road
2. Ensure the safe and lawful reconnection of electricity to affected residents
3. Implement measures to prevent the re-establishment of informal settlements in our area

We believe that it is the council's responsibility to maintain public safety, enforce bylaws, and protect the rights of law-abiding citizens.
