Petition Against the Reinstatement of Mr. Matloga as Principal of FDR Primary School
We, the undersigned parents and guardians of learners at FDR Primary School, strongly oppose the reinstatement of Mr. Matloga as the principal of the school.
The allegations and charges brought against Mr. Matloga are of a serious nature. We believe that his prior conduct and leadership failures, which led to his dismissal, clearly demonstrate that he is unfit to manage the school.
We are deeply concerned for the safety and well-being of our children, as well as that of the teaching staff—particularly those educators who had the courage to speak out against Mr. Matloga.
Moreover, Mr. Matloga's current presence at the school is causing visible discord and division among staff members. This fractured environment undermines unity and morale, raising serious concerns about how a healthy and productive teaching and learning atmosphere can be sustained under such conditions.
His behaviour, particularly in relation to the allegations, reflects a disregard for the values and principles that FDR Primary School upholds and strives to instil in its learners.
For these reasons, we respectfully request that Mr. Matloga not be reinstated as principal and that the best interests of the learners, staff, and broader school community be prioritised.
