Revert Attack Block Update

A Alacricity · US

This is a petition to revert the recent Attack-Block changes back to the way combat was functioning pre-update. Please sign below if you wish for the recent Attack-Block changes to be REVERTED ENTIRELY. (This means restoring shadow parries, and the all former combat features regarding attack block to how they were in 2025)

Ever since Attack-Block has been added to TKG, the game's combat has devolved into something that is no longer enjoyable. Even with the removal of super multis, the old system still felt much more balanced and immersive. The only beneficial change to combat are the modern kicks. The meta of animation canceling feels cheap and has caused a decline in the playerbase's activity.

Not only for the average player has this update been a detriment, as a Weapon Specialist I've been heavily involved in TKG combat for over 8 months, and through my experience I've heard nothing but complaints from the majority of combat focused players on these changes.

Enough with the bias towards the few members that prefer these changes, we all know that the majority of players prefer the way combat was before. The majority deserve a say in the decision making of all of this, and with this petition we make our voices heard!

We do not want further exploration into this technique via small patches, we want the system to be restored to how it was previously, where it was balanced, around 2025 DOTO.

A big thank you to the Dev team that puts great effort into the game; you guys do a great job, but mistakes are at times unavoidable.
