Comments

#3002

Freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of choice.

This three freedoms build the pillars of what a free society is. Any disruption or violation to these freedoms are nothing short of archaic and antisocial.

Feelings are not a basis on which to build a law system.

Diego Solis (Heredia, 2021-03-24)

#3003

It's my right to blaspheme and that should be allowed for all

Steven Straghan (Belfast, 2021-03-24)

#3010

Religious feelings should be put down as mental illness. My imaginary friend orders to eredicate the believers of other imaginary friends to protect pieces of wood.

This should be banned out of any official department and organization.
They can worship whoever they want, but in private.

Michael Putman (Schwarzach, 2021-03-24)

#3020

I support Nergal in his fight for freedom of speech and freedom of artistic expression.

Marian Babic (Ostrava, 2021-03-24)

#3023

I'm signing this because no government should have excessive control of the populace or be able to censor.

Bruce Arthur (Rockhampton, 2021-03-24)

#3026

I'm signing because I agree these laws are backwards and truely unfair for a free nation.

Matthew Sparks (Summerville, 2021-03-24)

#3027

Because religious bigotry, bullying and censorship is utter bullshit given the fact so much is swept under the rug by the Christan religion such as pedophilic behaviour and that seems to be fine but artists are facing prison for exercising freedom of speech and expression and it needs to change.

Declan McShane (Bangor, 2021-03-24)

#3030

Polish government should stop persecuting artists because they don't share the same religious and political views as the ones imposed by the state. Art is a way of expression that should be free of punishment. Freedom of speech is a must.

I believe everyone should be able to express them selves in any way even if it upsets others as long as no physical harm is being done to someone by the one who is expressing them selves artistically or politically. No one government should be able to silence anyone even if they do not agree with there form of expression.

Sergio De Armas jr (Cape Coral, 2021-03-24)

#3052

I believe that no religion has to do anything with the country laws and most important of all artistic freedom and freedom of expression must be defended!

#3054

Enough is enough.

Maciej Panas (Łódź, 2021-03-24)

#3057

I'm singing this because I support freedom of art. I believe in god and I don't feel offended by Adam Nergal Darski 's work but really get a deeper understanding in why I believe in god than any church could give me until now.

I believe everyone should have the right to their own beliefs, whether or not they align with someone else's.

Garrett Mehl (Auburn, 2021-03-24)

#3068

Everyone has the freedom of speech regardless of religion or belief. The Polish catholic church should not dictate to their people what they can or cannot say or what they should or should not believe.

Kirsty Phillipson-Lowe (Scunthorpe , 2021-03-24)

#3072

I believe everyone should have freedoms when it comes to expression and religion.

Zachary Werner (Spokane Valley, 2021-03-24)

#3073

Too many generations gave their lives to achieve freedom of speech, it is unthinkable that today, in the 21st Century in countries like Poland and Spain there can exists laws that limit freedom of speech on religious issues. These are the last attempt of our archaic Catholic elites who are aware their century old reign of controlling people's minds, opinions and lines is coming to an end.

Jose Miguel Gonzalez (Barcelona, 2021-03-24)

#3075

To further abolish blasphemy laws everywhere.

Austin Shadowsill (Camarillo, 2021-03-24)

#3078

Im signing because it is ridiculous that artists and people have to be dragged into court rooms, at their own significant costs, to defend themselves against nonsensical blasphemy laws made by tenuous Politicans. Their intent is to censor anyone who does not conform to the archaic religious of Article 196 which is straight up garbage since i believe that people should be able to think freely without the influence of religion or political stigmas.

Leonel Orantes Garcia (Jupiter, 2021-03-24)

#3089

This kind of religious percecution is something that belong to the days of the spanish inquisition and not a modern society like Poland is today. Shame on You, polish authorities!!!

Ivan Roen (Tynset, 2021-03-24)

#3096

Even though I believe religion is a poison on the earth, everyone should be allowed to talk about what they do or don't believe in.
The state shouldn't control what people are allowed to talk about.

Daniel Kolender (Chicago, 2021-03-24)

#3117

I'm signing because this law makes no sense at all.
We should not be obligated to be catholics, our Minds, our words should be free.
People are getting into trouble because they are hurting "Someone religious feelings(catholics)"...so non-catholics are not allowed to have feelings, right? Doesn't make sense.we are all flesh and bone, should all have the same rights and law, no discrimination for gender, age, Race, religion...

Every human has an inalienable right as an existing individual to hold a belief or view and the right to express it without physical harm to another individual. Any oppressions on the freedoms of speech by church, state, or by the regency of their country, nullifies the inherent right of freedom and the very foundation of its meaning to be free.

I sign this as an affirmation in support in stating: that the church has no right to condemn any human being for blasphemy, or charge them under an old world view of imposing punishment under a guise of absolute carnal law, in the opposition to their colloquial beliefs.

The church has injected it's poison in the governing bodies of Poland and also in the United States and other countries for centuries. It uses their faith and their allocation of money to invest lobbying their goals and self interests of the church in all world governments. Moving the world the way they see fit under a corrupt foundation which even traces itself back to the temple priests of ancient Greece who made deals with ancient senators.

When congregations of Christians, Catholics, and other Orthodoxies silence others and single them out for their views and place themselves within systems of government. These bodies of the faith are just as hypocritical as those they impose their heretical sentences upon in the abuses of their own doctrines.

When the government listens to the church and caters to their investments, then the government as a whole becomes ungoverned as it is managed by outside interests corrupting it within.

I find it a blasphemy in itself to charge any human being of the earth. It is hypocritical.

Art has no borders, each form of art even Anti-christian, satanist, or any other sect, has a right in the living world to express, share, and also influence social awareness and cultural shifts in conversation and growth as beings of this earth.

The church has tried to grip the reigns for so long in its oppressive submission to mold the world by their dictations and their views.

An individuals inherent right is speech and their views.

As humans if we cannot accept those views like anything else;

"Turn the other cheek."

- I guess the churches rule on forgiveness goes to the highest bidder.

Frogg Corpse (Louisville, 2021-03-24)

Religion SHOULD NOT dictate law. Especially since there are a ton of religions that contradict one another. By making religion law, you are pitting the human race against each other. Religion < the toilet paper I use to wipe my ass.

to die when and how he will.
2. Man has the right to eat what he will:
to drink what he will:
to dwell where he will:
to move as he will on the face of the earth.
3. Man has the right to think what he will:
to speak what he will:
to write what he will:

to dress as he will.
4. Man has the right to love as he will:--

Adam Bricker (Kelowna, 2021-03-24)

#3175

Freedom of expression is extremely important to every individual who has something to say and 'express'.
I am a fellow artist who takes freedom of expression seriously as i believe it to be the key behind all creations and i believe in what Nergal and the band 'Behemoth' have to say and show to the world.

Lewis Munslow (Houghton Regis, 2021-03-24)

#3181

I clearly do not agree with limiting the artistic freedom because of such a meaningless reason which is subjective view that it's insulting a single person's, not whole community's, but once again single person's, religious feelings. The religious law is insulting not only freedom of speech, but also, in my point of view, a vast majority of artists, and, according to the previous examples, human rights.
