Stop imminent removal of counselor Morake

Counselor Ronald Morake, the regional Chairperson of ACDP, Tshwane is facing charges of bringing the organization into disrepute. This is a serious charge which has a sanction of dismissal which may result in him being removed as a leader of the organization and subsequently a counselor. The removal as a counselor is a double edged sword as it has implications on the organization as well as government.

He is currently a Chairperson of the Finance committee in Tshwane Municipality, a position he occupies by virtue of being ACDP counselor and leader. The removal will disrupt government processes and smooth rennung of the portfolio in a Municipality which has experienced turbulences in the last 4 years. 

If this happens, ACDP will loose a lot and may never be able to recover in Tshwane from this. His leadership over the last few years has seen the organization grow exponentially resulting in additional 3000 votes in the national elections for Tshwane region. His removal based on fabricated charges will hurt the organization and reverse these gains. 

We say no to this and the national leadership must throw this charges out and rather work to unite the organization as we prepare for local elections next year.
