Stop paid parking for Motorcycles and Scooters in Wellington

The riding public shouldn't have to foot the bill for the Wellington City Councils wasteful spending and its inability to properly manage its finances.  Riders already alleviate congestion, have less of an impact on road damage and pollution.

The council is proposing parking charges of $2.50 per hour per bike which will make Wellington the only city in New Zealand with such charges. These charges are disproportionately high compared to the actual costs of maintaining parking for riders.

Wellingtonians are already overburdened by erroneous expenses and shouldn't have to pay for the council’s inability to properly manage core infrastructure, constantly gouging Wellingtonians for more and more money for delivering less and less services must stop!
