Stop proposed chopping of trees of Dadar TT, Mumbai.

Dear Sir / Madam,

We strongly protest against the proposed chopping of three huge trees near Dadar TT (from Dayaram Damodar Mithaiwala shop towards Tilak Bridge, ostensibly to expand the adjacent Tilak Bridge by Railways and BMC's Bridges Dept. to six-lanes.

The expansion of Tilak Bridge has nothing to do with these three trees as the latter are more than 100 meteres away. So whats the need to chop these trees ?

On the contrary due to heavy footfalls of pedestrians, vehicular traffic and resultant air and noise pollution there is a dire need to plant more shade-giving trees on and around Dadar TT area, but in its wisdon the authorities wish to chop down trees.

So we demand revoking this proposal to chop trees near Dadar TT immediately.
