To keep black trainers for academic year at TCC

For any parents whose children attends TCC we have now been informed that the uniform policy has been updated yet again, banning black trainers to be worn in school. Parents feel there has been some miscommunication from the school and many of us have spent money on new black trainers for their children to wear which was previously allowed and stated on the website and verbally from teachers before the end of last term. TCC parents are fully on board with new policies from the school and will always remain cooperative. However in this instance we are asking the school to reconsider the 'No trainer policy' until the next academic year. We have spent a considerable amount on school uniform, lockers, laptops, dinner money some of which are not being used due to COVID restrictions. It seems unfair the school are now insisting we dig into are very brassic pockets to buy another pair of school shoes. If you feel that school has miscommunicated the updated No trainers policy and feel reluctant or pressured to purchase more school uniform, please sign the petition so we can pass on to the school! Hopefully we can urge the school to defer the no trainers policy until September 2021 **PLEASE ONLY SIGN IF YOU HAVE A CHILD ATTENDING TCC** Thanks so much!
