Whisman Needs a Neighborhood School

The Whisman area of Mountain View is under-served in our city with regards to a neighborhood school. Not one, but TWO of our neighborhood schools have been closed forcing our families to drive all over town to take their children to school.

We have 611 elementary aged children and 0 public schools within walking distance.

Our children deserve the right to walk or bike to school. Our neighborhood needs a local school to build community. Our homeowners deserve to see their property tax go towards our own neighborhood school (did you know our area of town has the LOWEST property values in the entire city? No neighborhood school = lower property values).

Please sign this petition to show the Mountain View Whisman School Board and Trustees that we DO want a neighborhood school. We DO care about our community and the safety of our children. We DO deserve to be heard.
