Appeal For Offline Physical Petition.

Dear DPU office,

This application is in regards to the decision by our College, Dr. D.Y. Patil Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Institute to conduct an Online Convocation ceremony, which Initially ought to happen by a physical meet.

The agenda of this request is to propose an Actual Physical Convocation ceremony on the occasion of our Graduation!

We would like to inform the authorities that we are aware of these times of Coronavirus outbreak in which it is Imperitive to act with caution and comply with Social Distancing at all costs until advised otherwise by Experts.

As much as we support the online regime in order to execute majority of our tasks from Home.

A Convocation Ceremony performed online will be of no use as the Fundamentals of a Function are to gather and involve in the Happiness of ourselves as well as our colleagues.

Keeping in my mind, this ongoing lockdown period we welcome the alternative to postpone the date of this Event as per satisfactory requirements. 

Also, we have paid INR 5,000/- as mandatory charges for this event which were supposed to be used for arrangement of all the necessities (for eg. Our costume robes and caps, food, refreshments and other essential items) as per my Knowledge.

Instead of reimbursement of this amount ( as it will no longer be Justifiable if an Online Convocation happens) we urge the concerned authorities to reschedule the date of Event, which has already been postponed as it was supposed to happen in April!

Therefore, On behalf of all the Students of 2015 batch, we politely decline this Online Convocation organized for us!

Kindly arrange a physical Convocation ceremony on the occasion of our Graduation!
